ProductBrew Live

A thought-leadership hub for software product people: interviews with product, engineering and design leaders (Spotlight), a twice-weekly News digest, and The ProductBrew Awards.

  • Role: founder and builder; I wrote the content plan and shipped the site.
  • Every News item links its original source and was fact-checked before publishing.
  • Stack: static HTML built from Python, three.js scenes that load only when visible, served by a Cloudflare Worker.

VESTA investor site Live

The investor-facing site for VESTA, with the one-pager, the pitch deck and a recorded product walkthrough.

  • Role: founder; I wrote the narrative and built the site.
  • Stack: static site on Cloudflare Pages.

Docs site Prototype

A searchable documentation site for my operating system of projects, built on Quartz v4 from the life-os repo.

  • Role: builder; I planned it and built the prototype.
  • Stack: Quartz v4, Markdown from GitHub, automated deploy workflow.

Not public yet: docs.ajjkasper.com is not live.

Multi-agent bot system Private

A team of specialist AI agents coordinated by Jarvis, my chief-of-staff agent. Each bot owns one area (job search, projects, finance, coaching, sleep, learning, content and operations) and works from its own written objective and research standard.

  • Role: designer and operator; I defined each bot's scope, rules and handoffs.
  • Work is tracked on GitHub: every project has an epic issue and sits on one shared board.
  • Stack: AI agents, GitHub issues and projects, Markdown rulebooks.

Private system; no public link.

ClosetOS / ClosetLab Live (sign-in)

A personal styling app for my wardrobe: a staged build plan, a style bible of fit and colour rules, and ClosetLab, where outfits are composed and checked against those rules.

  • Role: founder and builder; I wrote the rules and the staged plan, with a stage moving only on approval or a pass/fail test.
  • Stack: plain HTML, CSS and vanilla JS on Cloudflare, with generated pages and automated phone and desktop screenshots.

Megadash Live (sign-in)

My life OS dashboard, shared with an accountability partner: daily routines and tasks, projects ranked by priority, and labs for focused work, including JobLab for the job search, VentureLab for scoring new ventures, VideoLab for testing AI video tools, and a tool-stack cost builder.

  • Role: founder and product owner; I set the roadmap and approve every release.
  • Shipped as versioned releases with changelogs, tests and a database backup before each deploy; v2.21.7 went live on Oct 24, 2026.
  • Installable phone app with offline support.
  • Stack: Python server with a database, vanilla JS front end, backups to AWS S3.

VESTA Demo

A marketplace where clients book sessions with independent readers, join tiered memberships, tip during live sessions and unlock paid content drops. I took it from spec to a working demo in about ten weeks by scoping v1 to one end-to-end client loop and deferring everything outside it.

  • This is a demo. It has no users and no revenue. All data is sample data, and payments are simulated (no card is charged).
  • Benchmarked six competitors on vetting, pricing, payouts and trust to define a curated, trust-first position.
  • Stack: Ext JS, LoopBack 4, PostgreSQL, Stripe Checkout and Zoom (both mocked in development).

2-minute walkthrough of the demo (silent).

Scry

A marketplace for independent spiritual sellers on Etsy.

More detail on Scry is coming; there is no public link yet.

    Professional work · newest first · 09–12

    Unified Rules Engine

Data and implementation teams validated client data by hand. I built the Unified Rules Engine, a YAML library of format, range and sequential-logic checks that replaced most of that manual work.

    • Client-facing data quality up 40% in year one (rules-engine report card).
    • User base up 16% in two months by focusing the onboarding roadmap on the few constraints blocking new asset classes.
    • Engagement up 12% and 18% in one quarter on two flagship products.

    10 · FactSet · 2018–23

    Self-service ETL

Clients loaded FactSet data with a fragile command-line loader, and onboarding took weeks. I turned it into a self-service ETL platform for every major OS and database, prioritizing features from client interviews.

    • Client onboarding cut from weeks to days.
    • Also launched the FactSet Product Catalog: clients discover, configure and buy 200+ content products (on-prem, CMS or API) with no Sales or Implementation touch; v1 shipped in about six months with a ~20-person team.

    11 · Spectrum · 2016–17

    Spectrum app

Billing ran through the phone. I launched the Spectrum app on Google Play and the Apple App Store and unified subscription, usage and billing self-service across three CRMs during the Charter merger.

    • 400K+ users in year one (internal usage dashboards).
    • Billing-related call volume down 41% (internal billing dashboards).

    12 · NASDAQ · 2014–16

    Database compliance

Enforced compliance processes across NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, Reg SCI, FINRA and GDPR, giving application teams audit-ready deliverables for KPMG and other independent audits.

    • Database risk tickets down 8%.
    • Server processing load down 14% after storage-strategy SOPs.
